Welcome to GetLibStart ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our AI assistant platform, website getlibstart.com, browser extensions, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using GetLibStart, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must be at least 16 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Business accounts represent that you have authority to bind the entity.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited actions include: reverse engineering, scraping, automated access that degrades performance, using AI outputs for illegal purposes, generating harmful or discriminatory content, attempting to circumvent usage limits, or sharing access credentials. Violation may result in immediate termination.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

GetLibStart owns all rights to the platform, software, algorithms, trademarks, and design. You retain ownership of any input data ("Your Content") you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide, improve, and secure the Service. Output generated by AI is owned by you, subject to compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.

5. Data Processing & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for any sensitive data you choose to input. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies; you should independently verify critical decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETLIBSTART SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

8. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, extended inactivity, or to protect our systems. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may delete your data after 30 days unless legal retention applies.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of laws. Any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Kitsap County, WA, unless otherwise agreed. Class action waivers apply.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitute acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on our website.
